The union members of SEIU Virginia 512 — Fairfax County employees, Home Care providers and Loudoun County employees — work hard to make our Commonwealth a better place for all people.
We are caregivers, engineers, nurses, librarians, social workers, parks staff, child protective services workers, and more, dedicated to making our communities healthy, successful places.
Now, united in our union, we have the strength needed to win the raises we deserve!
Fairfax County employees won 4.1% average raises, doubled the Market Rate Adjustment (MRA), and established a $15.14/hr minimum wage for county employees, in the FY’2020 budget, which was passed in May.
Home Care providers won raises in the state budget, which passed earlier this year, despite strong right-wing opposition.
Meanwhile, Loudoun County employees have won 11.5% raises over the past two years.
We are proud of the work we do to help local families, and we’re proud of what we can accomplish in our union to take care of our own families.
