Joined by community members and allies, we urged the Board of Supervisors to:
- Fully fund the MRA for all employees!
- Fully fund the services we provide!
- Fill vacant positions!
- Protect DROP and employee retirement!
- Ensure workplace safety and end managers’ bullying of employees!

Our union had more members attend the three day budget hearings than any other organization or employee group! Congratulations to all the union leaders who made that possible.
Union members will be pushing hard throughout April to urge the Board of Supervisors to pass a budget which invests in employees and working families. The Board “marks up” (i.e. changes) the budget on April 25 and officially adopts the final budget on May 2.
